Chapter 107: AL-MAUN (SMALL KINDNESSES)

سوره 107: الماعون

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

have you seen he who belied the recompense? (1)

آیا کسى را که [روز] جزا را دروغ مى‏خواند دیدى (1)

it is he who turns away the orphan (2)

این همان کس است که یتیم را بسختى مى‏راند (2)

and does not urge others to feed the needy. (3)

و به خوراک‏دادن بینوا ترغیب نمى‏کند (3)

woe to those who pray, (4)

پس واى بر نمازگزارانى (4)

who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), (5)

که از نمازشان غافلند (5)

who show off, (6)

آنان که ریا مى‏کنند (6)

and prevent the utensils of assistance. (7)

و از [دادن] زکات [و وسایل و مایحتاج خانه] خوددارى مى‏ورزند (7)

Chapter 111: AL-MASADD (PALM FIBRE)

سوره 111: المسد

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

perish the hands of abilahab, and perish he! (1)

بریده باد دو دست ابولهب و مرگ بر او باد (1)

his wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; (2)

دارایى او و آنچه اندوخت‏سودش نکرد (2)

he shall roast at a flaming fire, (3)

بزودى در آتشى پرزبانه درآید (3)

and his wife, laden with firewood (4)

و زنش آن هیمه‏کش [آتش فروز] (4)

shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! (5)

بر گردنش طنابى از لیف خرماست (5)

Chapter 113: AL-FALAQ (THE DAYBREAK)

سوره 113: الفلق

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

say: 'i take refuge with the lord of daybreak (1)

بگو پناه مى‏برم به پروردگار سپیده دم (1)

from the evil of what he has created, (2)

از شر آنچه آفریده (2)

from the evil of the darkness when it gathers (3)

و از شر تاریکى چون فراگیرد (3)

from the evil of the blowers on knots; (4)

و از شر دمندگان افسون در گره‏ها (4)

from the evil of the envier when he envies. ' (5)

و از شر [هر] حسود آنگاه که حسد ورزد (5)
