Chapter 93: AD-DHUHA (THE MORNING HOURS)

سوره 93: الضحى

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

by the midmorning, (1)

سوگند به روشنایى روز (1)

and by the night when it covers, (2)

سوگند به شب چون آرام گیرد (2)

your lord has not forsaken you (prophet muhammad), nor does he hate you. (3)

[که] پروردگارت تو را وانگذاشته و دشمن نداشته است (3)

the last shall be better for you than the first. (4)

و قطعا آخرت براى تو از دنیا نیکوتر خواهد بود (4)

your lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. (5)

و بزودى پروردگارت تو را عطا خواهد داد تا خرسند گردى (5)

did he not find you an orphan and give you shelter? (6)

مگر نه تو را یتیم یافت پس پناه داد (6)

did he not find you a wanderer so he guided you? (7)

و تو را سرگشته یافت پس هدایت کرد (7)

did he not find you poor and suffice you? (8)

و تو را تنگدست‏یافت و بى‏نیاز گردانید (8)

do not oppress the orphan, (9)

و اما [تو نیز به پاس نعمت ما] یتیم را میازار (9)

nor drive away the one who asks. (10)

و گدا را مران (10)

but tell of the favors of your lord! (11)

و از نعمت پروردگار خویش [با مردم] سخن گوى (11)

AN-IKHLAS (SINCERITY), 4 ayats, Makkan sura

Chapter 112: AL-IKHLAS (SINCERITY)

سوره 112: الإخلاص

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 

                               به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان 

say: 'he is allah, the one, (1)

بگو اوست‏خداى یگانه (1)

the called upon. (2)

خداى صمد [ثابت متعالى] (2)

who has not given birth, and has not been born, (3)

[کسى را] نزاده و زاده نشده است (3)

and there is none equal to him. ' (4)

و هیچ کس او را همتا نیست (4)

AL-LAILE (THE NIGHT), 21 ayats, Madina sura

Chapter 92: AL-LAIL (THE NIGHT)

سوره 92: اللیل

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

by the night, when it envelops, (1)

سوگند به شب چون پرده افکند (1)

and by the day when it unveils. (2)

سوگند به روز چون جلوه‏گرى آغازد (2)

and by who created the male and female, (3)

و [سوگند به] آنکه نر و ماده را آفرید (3)

your striving is indeed to different ends! (4)

که همانا تلاش شما پراکنده است (4)

for him that gives and fears (allah) (5)

اما آنکه [حق خدا را] داد و پروا داشت (5)

and believes in the finest, (6)

و [پاداش] نیکوتر را تصدیق کرد (6)

we shall surely ease him to the path of easing; (7)

بزودى راه آسانى پیش پاى او خواهیم گذاشت (7)

but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, (8)

و اما آنکه بخل ورزید و خود را بى‏نیاز دید (8)

and he belied the finest (9)

و [پاداش] نیکوتر را به دروغ گرفت (9)

we shall surely ease for him the path of hardship (the fire). (10)

بزودى راه دشوارى به او خواهیم نمود (10)

when he falls (into hell), his wealth will not help him. (11)

و چون هلاک شد [دیگر] مال او به کارش نمى‏آید (11)

indeed, guidance is ours, (12)

همانا هدایت بر ماست (12)

and to us belong the last and the first. (13)

و در حقیقت دنیا و آخرت از آن ماست (13)

i have now warned you of the blazing fire, (14)

پس شما را به آتشى که زبانه مى‏کشد هشدار دادم (14)

in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, (15)

جز نگون‏بخت‏تر[ین مردم] در آن درنیاید (15)

who belied and turned away, (16)

همان که تکذیب کرد و رخ برتافت (16)

and from which the cautious shall be distanced. (17)

و پاک‏رفتارتر[ین مردم] از آن دور داشته خواهد شد (17)

he who gives his wealth to be purified, (18)

همان که مال خود را مى‏دهد [براى آنکه] پاک شود (18)

and confers no favor upon anyone for recompense (19)

و هیچ کس را به قصد پاداش‏یافتن نعمت نمى‏بخشد (19)

seeking only the face of his lord, the most high, (20)

جز خواستن رضاى پروردگارش که بسى برتر است [منظورى ندارد] (20)

surely, he shall be satisfied. (21)

و قطعا بزودى خشنود خواهد شد (21)

AN-NASR (SUCCOUR), 3 ayats, Madina sura

Chapter 110: AN-NASR (SUCCOUR)

سوره 110: النصر

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

when the victory of allah and the opening comes, (1)

چون یارى خدا و پیروزى فرا رسد (1)

and you see people embracing the religion of allah in throngs, (2)

و ببینى که مردم دسته‏دسته در دین خدا درآیند (2)

exalt with the praise of your lord and ask forgiveness from him. for indeed, he is the turner (for the penitent). (3)

پس به ستایش پروردگارت نیایشگر باش و از او آمرزش خواه که وى همواره توبه‏پذیر است (3)

AN-NAS (MANKIND), 6 ayats, Makkan sura

Chapter 114: AN-NAS (MANKIND)

سوره 114: الناس

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

say: 'i take refuge with the lord of people, (1)

بگو پناه مى‏برم به پروردگار مردم (1)

the king of people, (2)

پادشاه مردم (2)

the god of people, (3)

معبود مردم (3)

from the evil of the slinking whisperer. (4)

از شر وسوسه‏گر نهانى (4)

who whispers in the chests of people, (5)

آن کس که در سینه‏هاى مردم وسوسه مى‏کند (5)

both jinn and people.' (6)

چه از جن و [چه از] انس (6)
