Chapter 92: AL-LAIL (THE NIGHT)
سوره 92: اللیل
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
by the night, when it envelops,
سوگند به شب چون پرده افکند
and by the day when it unveils.
سوگند به روز چون جلوهگرى آغازد
and by who created the male and female,
و [سوگند به] آنکه نر و ماده را آفرید
your striving is indeed to different ends!
که همانا تلاش شما پراکنده است
for him that gives and fears (allah)
اما آنکه [حق خدا را] داد و پروا داشت
and believes in the finest,
و [پاداش] نیکوتر را تصدیق کرد
we shall surely ease him to the path of easing;
بزودى راه آسانى پیش پاى او خواهیم گذاشت
but for him that is a miser, and sufficed,
و اما آنکه بخل ورزید و خود را بىنیاز دید
and he belied the finest
و [پاداش] نیکوتر را به دروغ گرفت
we shall surely ease for him the path of hardship (the fire).
بزودى راه دشوارى به او خواهیم نمود
when he falls (into hell), his wealth will not help him.
و چون هلاک شد [دیگر] مال او به کارش نمىآید
indeed, guidance is ours,
همانا هدایت بر ماست
and to us belong the last and the first.
و در حقیقت دنیا و آخرت از آن ماست
i have now warned you of the blazing fire,
پس شما را به آتشى که زبانه مىکشد هشدار دادم
in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner,
جز نگونبختتر[ین مردم] در آن درنیاید
who belied and turned away,
همان که تکذیب کرد و رخ برتافت
and from which the cautious shall be distanced.
و پاکرفتارتر[ین مردم] از آن دور داشته خواهد شد
he who gives his wealth to be purified,
همان که مال خود را مىدهد [براى آنکه] پاک شود
and confers no favor upon anyone for recompense
و هیچ کس را به قصد پاداشیافتن نعمت نمىبخشد
seeking only the face of his lord, the most high,
جز خواستن رضاى پروردگارش که بسى برتر است [منظورى ندارد]
surely, he shall be satisfied.
و قطعا بزودى خشنود خواهد شد
Chapter 110: AN-NASR (SUCCOUR)
سوره 110: النصر
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
when the victory of allah and the opening comes,
چون یارى خدا و پیروزى فرا رسد
and you see people embracing the religion of allah in throngs,
و ببینى که مردم دستهدسته در دین خدا درآیند
exalt with the praise of your lord and ask forgiveness from him. for indeed, he is the turner (for the penitent).
پس به ستایش پروردگارت نیایشگر باش و از او آمرزش خواه که وى همواره توبهپذیر است
Chapter 114: AN-NAS (MANKIND)
سوره 114: الناس
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
say: 'i take refuge with the lord of people,
بگو پناه مىبرم به پروردگار مردم
the king of people,
پادشاه مردم
the god of people,
معبود مردم
from the evil of the slinking whisperer.
از شر وسوسهگر نهانى
who whispers in the chests of people,
آن کس که در سینههاى مردم وسوسه مىکند
both jinn and people.'
چه از جن و [چه از] انس
Chapter 97: AL-QADR (POWER)
سوره 97: القدر
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
we sent this (the holy koran) down on the night of honor.
ما [قرآن را] در شب قدر نازل کردیم
what could let you know what the night of honor is!
و از شب قدر چه آگاهت کرد
the night of honor is better than a thousand months,
شب قدر از هزار ماه ارجمندتر است
in it the angels and the spirit (gabriel) descend by the permission of their lord upon every command.
در آن [شب] فرشتگان با روح به فرمان پروردگارشان براى هر کارى [که مقرر شده است] فرود آیند
peace it is, till the break of dawn.
[آن شب] تا دم صبح صلح و سلام است
Chapter 91: ASH-SHAMS (THE SUN)
سوره 91: الشمس
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان
by the sun and its midmorning,
سوگند به خورشید و تابندگىاش
by the moon, which follows it,
سوگند به ماه چون پى [خورشید] رود
by the day, when it displays it,
سوگند به روز چون [زمین را] روشن گرداند
by the night, when it envelops it!
سوگند به شب چو پرده بر آن پوشد
by the heaven and who built it,
سوگند به آسمان و آن کس که آن را برافراشت
by the earth and who spread it,
سوگند به زمین و آن کس که آن را گسترد
by the soul and who shaped it
سوگند به نفس و آن کس که آن را درست کرد
and inspired it with its sin and its piety,
سپس پلیدکارى و پرهیزگارىاش را به آن الهام کرد
prosperous is he who purified it,
که هر کس آن را پاک گردانید قطعا رستگار شد
and failed is he who buried it!
و هر که آلودهاش ساخت قطعا درباخت
thamood belied in their pride
[قوم] ثمود به سبب طغیان خود به تکذیب پرداختند
when the most wicked of them broke forth,
آنگاه که شقىترینشان بر[پا] خاست
the messenger of allah said to them: '( this is) the shecamel of allah, let her drink. '
پس فرستاده خدا به آنان گفت زنهار مادهشتر خدا و [نوبت] آبخوردنش را [حرمت نهید]
but they belied him, and hamstrung her. so their lord crushed them for their sin and leveled it (their village).
و[لى] دروغزنش خواندند و آن [مادهشتر] را پى کردند و پروردگارشان به [سزاى] گناهشان بر سرشان عذاب آورد و آنان را با خاک یکسان کرد
he does not fear the result (of their destruction).
و از پیامد کار خویش بیمى به خود راه نداد
